Pearl Maalouf is motivated to maintain a healthy lifestyle because she has a family history of diabetes, high blood pressure, eating disorders, and heart disease. She wants to help others dealing with those issues make a change in their lives and help people prevent or delay these types of diseases through exercise and their diet. Her holistic approach to health and fitness includes various training styles such as yoga, strength training, CrossFit, and functional movement. This approach is what inspired her to create her Power Stretch class – a unique combination of yoga moves to lengthen muscles, strength moves to provide stability, and cardiovascular work to improve heart function and boost fat loss.

Pearl believes in a happy, stress-free lifestyle that balances healthy eating and a little bit of indulging. She strives to make health and fitness an easy part of people’s lives so that they may enjoy all other aspects of life itself.


BS in Biology – Biology is concerned about all aspects of a living organisms; from microorganisms, plants, animals and humans. It is also related to other branches of science like chemistry and physics. It is also known as a premed course since it tackles all the basics of science. In depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology are acquired through this program.

FMSC – A Functional Movement Specialist uses a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are vital to normal human function. By screening these patterns, the Functional Movement Specialist readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness. The Functional Movement Specialist monitors the FMS score to track progress and to identify those exercises that will be most effective to restore proper movement and build strength in each individual.

CPT – Certified Personal Trainers are health/fitness professionals who, using an individualized approach, assess, motivate, educate and train clients regarding their health and fitness needs. Certified Personal Trainers design safe and effective exercise programs, provide the guidance to help clients achieve their personal health/fitness goals and respond appropriately in emergency situations.

CF-L1 – A CrossFit Coach is knowledgeable in the methodology, programming and foundational movements of CrossFit. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness program by building a program that will best prepare trainees for any physical contingency.
